MiRNDa, Inc. secures seed funding for RNA-based cancer detection

MiRNDa, Inc., a Tokyo-based startup, has successfully completed a seed round of funding through a third-party allotment of shares. The investment was led by the Takanawa Gateway Global Benefit Investment Limited Partnership, managed by Global Brain Co., Ltd., and the Meiji Yasuda Future Co-creation Investment Limited Partnership.

MiRNDa utilizes proprietary RNA modification analysis technology, which has demonstrated high diagnostic potential for the early detection of cancers that are typically difficult to identify, such as pancreatic and liver cancers. The company aims to use this capital to accelerate research and clinical development, with the goal of expanding its cancer screening solutions from Japan to the global market.
