Miroslav Jagatic settles legal dispute with Chemie Leipzig
Miroslav Jagatic and BSG Chemie Leipzig have reached an out-of-court settlement regarding a legal dispute over his expiring employment contract. Both parties have agreed to remain silent regarding the specific terms of the agreement. Jagatic served as the head coach of the Regionalliga team from January 2019 to December 2024, a period during which he led the club to promotion from the Oberliga to the Regionalliga and reached the Saxon State Cup final in 2022.
Following the resolution of his legal conflict with Leipzig, Jagatic has emerged as a leading candidate to succeed Daniyel Cimen as head coach at SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz (SGB). SGB recently parted ways with Cimen after a five-game winless streak. While the club's sporting director, Martin Geisendörfer, did not officially confirm the appointment, he spoke positively of Jagatic’s professional and personal qualities. Reports suggest Jagatic could be introduced as the new head coach as early as Wednesday.
