Mirrativ launches browser-based PC streaming and eSports initiatives

Mirrativ, a major Japanese game streaming platform, has launched a significant update to its service marking its 11th anniversary. The update introduces a new browser-based version for PC, allowing users to stream games by simply sharing their screen through a browser. This eliminates the need for complex software installations like OBS or manual configuration of bitrates and resolutions.

The update also enhances the viewing experience on PC. The interface has been redesigned to make it easier to find followed or recommended streams, and viewers can now send gifts to streamers directly from their browsers.

Additionally, Mirrativ is expanding into the eSports sector through new partnerships with professional eSports teams. The company aims to bridge the gap between casual community gaming and competitive scenes. Planned initiatives include events and community-building activities centered around popular titles such as ‘Brawl Stars’ for mobile and ‘Apex Legends’ for PC.
