Mirtha Legrand shows favorable progress during hospitalization

Mirtha Legrand, the 99-year-old Argentine television host, continues to show favorable clinical evolution while hospitalized at Sanatorio Mater Dei. She has been interned since September 18 due to a respiratory condition, specifically a pneumopathy.

According to medical reports signed by Director Enrique Echagüe, Legrand is currently in a standard hospital room and is making progress with kinesiological rehabilitation. While she is undergoing clinical, nutritional, and kinesiological monitoring, a specific discharge date has not yet been determined.

Her granddaughter, Juana Viale, who is currently filling in as host for ‘La Noche de Mirtha’ on El Trece, has provided updates to the public. Viale noted that Legrand is improving daily and remains attentive to her program even from the clinic, occasionally providing feedback on the broadcasts. The medical center has indicated that further updates will be provided on Wednesday if there are no significant changes in her condition.
