Mirza Çelik elected Chairman of Türkiye Gençlik Birliği

Mirza Çelik has been elected as the new Chairman of the Türkiye Gençlik Birliği (TGB) during the organization’s 7th Extraordinary General Congress held in Ankara. Çelik, an Ankara University student, received unanimous votes to succeed Kayahan Çetin, who has led the organization for the past four years.

The congress saw participation from high school and university students across Turkey, as well as representatives from various political parties, including the Vatan Party, Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP), DEVA Party, and Zafer Party. Notable political figures and artists sent messages of support, including Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Mansur Yavaş, and Süleyman Soylu.

In his inaugural address, Çelik emphasized the unity of Turkish youth under the slogan ‘Vatan ve Hürriyet’ (Motherland and Freedom) and stated that the organization would fight for the integrity and independence of the nation.
