Mirzapur actors reunite for new series as film casting details emerge

Actors Divyenndu and Harshita Gaur, known for their roles in the Mirzapur franchise, are set to reunite as a married couple in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, ‘Waiting Hai’. The casting marks a significant shift from their previous dynamic in the Mirzapur universe.

In related news regarding the Mirzapur franchise, director Gurmmeet Singh has addressed the casting change in ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’. Jitendra Kumar took over the role of Bablu Pandit, which was originally played by Vikrant Massey in the first season. Singh noted that the decision to recast allowed the production to approach the character with more ambition and personal agency. The film, which also features Divyenndu, has surpassed the ₹50cr mark at the box office.
