Mirzapur franchise confirms Season 4 scripting and unveils Aug 11 trailer for 2026 movie

Director Gurmmeet Singh has confirmed that scripting for Mirzapur Season 4 is underway, although final production dates remain uncertain because of the series’ large ensemble cast. The franchise is simultaneously preparing a theatrical film, Mirzapur: The Movie, slated for release on September 4, 2026. An official trailer for the movie will be launched on August 11, 2026, offering a broader glimpse of the story that bridges the original 2018 timeline and the upcoming season. The film reunites the core cast—including Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu Sharma, Ali Fazal, Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan—under the direction of Gurmmeet Singh, with a screenplay by Puneet Krishna. Production is a joint effort by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
