Misano hosts major cycling and MotoGP events to boost tourism

Misano is experiencing a surge in tourism driven by major sporting events. The International Bike Festival recently concluded its ninth edition, attracting over 65,000 visitors and featuring more than 600 brands. The event, which has adopted a new international identity, aims to promote sustainable mobility and cycling tourism in the Emilia-Romagna region.

Following the cycling festival, attention shifts to the Misano World Circuit for the Red Bull San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix. This MotoGP event is a critical stage in the 2026 world championship battle. Jorge Martín currently holds the lead, but faces intense competition from Marc Márquez and local favorite Marco Bezzecchi. The championship race remains tight, with weather conditions expected to be a significant factor during the weekend.
