Misato mayoral election debate scheduled for 2026 candidates

A public debate has been organized for candidates in the upcoming Misato mayoral election. The event aims to provide residents with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates regarding their visions for the city's future.

The election is scheduled to have its official announcement on October 25, with voting taking place on November 1. The debate is being organized by the Misato Station South Shopping District and Waseda Chuo Kyoeikai, under the management of the Misato Mayoral Election Public Debate Executive Committee.

Participation is free, and the event is expected to be held over two days, covering both the north and south areas of the city. While the format will focus primarily on online participation, in-person attendance will also be an option. Specific details regarding the date, time, and venue are expected to be announced on September 22.
