Miscreance announces new album ‘Reminiscence’ and single “The Moaning Hill”

Italian tech-thrash band Miscreance has released “The Moaning Hill,” the third and final single preceding their upcoming second album, ‘Reminiscence.’ The album is scheduled for release on August 28 through the label Season of Mist.

Moving beyond their technical death metal roots, the new material incorporates tribal percussion and primitive instrumentation, including didgeridoo, flute, and berimbau. The band describes the concept of ‘Reminiscence’ as a “lost album” from an unknown civilization that blends futuristic elements, such as psychic powers, with primitive aspects like hunting and ritualistic bloodshed.

The upcoming release will be available in various formats, including a limited first pressing of 250 black 12-inch vinyl copies featuring a 12-page insert.
