Misericordia associations celebrate milestones in Italy

Two branches of the Misericordia organization are marking significant milestones this Sunday, October 25.

In Acqui Terme, the Confraternita di Misericordia is inaugurating a new headquarters on via Alberto da Giussano. The ceremony, scheduled for 4:00 PM, will include a formal blessing of the volunteers and vehicles by Bishop Luigi Testore. The new facility is designed to improve organizational efficiency and better serve the community's needs following 27 years of local activity.

In Oste, the Misericordia di Prato section is celebrating its 45th anniversary. The day's events begin at 9:15 AM with a reception for authorities, followed by a mass at the church of Santa Maria Madre della Chiesa. The celebration will also include the blessing and inauguration of new civil protection equipment, including an off-road vehicle and a water pump.
