MISIA to release new single ‘Gamusyara’ on September 18

Singer MISIA will release her new digital single, ‘Gamusyara’, on September 18. The song was written following the artist's participation in filming for the NHK program ‘Darwin ga Kita!’, marking the 20th anniversary of the show.

In addition to serving as the new theme song for the program starting in April 2026, the track will be used as the ending theme for the film ‘Darwin ga Kita! Sekai no Neko no Nakamatachi’, which is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on October 2.

MISIA has already performed the upbeat track during her current national live tour, ‘STARTS presents MISIA Hoshizora no Live XIII GRAND HORIZON’. Furthermore, the artist announced a new national arena tour, ‘STARTS presents MISIA BIG BAND ORCHESTRA 2027 BEYOND FREEDOM’, which is set to visit 11 cities starting in January 2027.
