Misiones education officials address AI integration challenges

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and new technologies presents a significant challenge for the educational system. Gabriela Bastarrechea, the Undersecretary of Education for Misiones, stated that adaptation requires involvement from teachers, students, families, and school management teams.

While digital tools can introduce new methodologies, facilitate educational instances, and improve management, Bastarrechea emphasized that their incorporation must follow clear criteria and responsible use. The goal is to integrate these resources without losing focus on individual student learning.

To address these changes, the Ministry of Education, through the Directorate of TIC, is providing continuous training opportunities for educators. This training aims to help teachers not only use platforms but also understand how to correctly formulate queries, interpret AI responses, and verify the accuracy of obtained data.
