Misiones educators participate in mathematics teaching workshops

In Misiones, Argentina, more than 400 teachers participated in the fourth meeting of the Didactic Mathematics Atheneums, organized by the Subsecretaría de Educación. Held across 12 locations, the sessions focused on analyzing student work in geometry and rethinking the role of errors in the learning process.

The program encouraged educators to move beyond simply marking answers as correct or incorrect, instead focusing on students' thought processes, decision-making, and mathematical justification. Following the event, 97% of participants reported a change in their perspective regarding errors in learning, with 70% stating the sessions provided clear tools for analyzing student work and improving pedagogical interventions.
