Misiones hosts hearing loss family meeting and device distribution

The Hospital Materno Neonatal of the Parque de la Salud, in collaboration with the Misiones Ministry of Public Health, is hosting ‘Misiones Escucha’ on Friday, October 30, at the Hospital Materno Neonatal in Posadas.

The event, titled the Misiones Hearing Loss Family Meeting, focuses on supporting families affected by hearing impairment. A central component of the program is the distribution of auditory headbands to children across the province. These devices are intended to support language development, schooling, and autonomy.

In addition to the distribution, the event will feature presentations on new hearing technologies and their benefits. Families and patients will also share personal testimonies to foster a community of support and shared learning.
