Misiones hosts symposium celebrating Guaraní Jesuit cultural legacy

The Guaraní Jesuit Cultural Legacy Symposium is being held in Posadas, Misiones, focusing on the cultural exchange between the Guaraní people and the Society of Jesus during the 17th and 18th centuries. The event features local, national, and international speakers, as well as musical performances and dance galas.

A major highlight of the symposium is the return of a historic Guaraní Jesuit printing press to Misiones after 250 years. Facilitated by Governor Hugo Passalacqua, the artifact is currently part of a temporary exhibition at the Parque del Conocimiento. The symposium aims to promote critical thinking regarding the tangible and intangible heritage of the region.
