Misiones Police conduct five wildlife rescues across the province

Police in Misiones, Argentina, conducted five separate wildlife rescue operations across various locations, including Dos de Mayo, Santa Inés, Posadas, Oberá, and Campo Viera.

The interventions involved several species: a capuchin monkey suspected of being hit by a vehicle, a dog with porcupine spines embedded in its body, a large toucan unable to fly, an injured hawk chick, and a land tortoise.

In most cases, the animals were transferred to specialized organizations, such as the Ohana Rescue Center and the Bird Garden, to receive veterinary care and rehabilitation.
