Misiones provides financial aid to restore storm-damaged greenhouses

The Province of Misiones has implemented a financial assistance program to help agricultural producers recover greenhouse infrastructure damaged by recent severe storms. The initiative, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Production, provides microcredits specifically for the replacement of greenhouse plastic roofing.

The credit scheme features a 0% interest rate, a three-month grace period, and repayment in four interest-free installments. This measure aims to protect horticultural production and safeguard the investments made by farming families against further climatic variations.

To date, the assistance has reached eight municipalities: Eldorado, San Pedro, Fracrán, Santo Pipó, Gobernador Roca, Caraguatay, Garuhapé, and Campo Viera. Provincial authorities continue to conduct damage assessments across the territory to identify further needs. To qualify, producers must present their DNI and an updated RENSPA, and must not have outstanding debts.
