Misr Exchange expands Egyptian network to 76 branches
Misr Exchange, a subsidiary of Banque Misr, has opened six new branches in Sherbin, Fayoum, New Mansoura, Miami in Alexandria, Abu Hammad, and Abu Kabir in the Sharqia Governorate. This expansion brings the company’s total network to 76 branches across Egypt.
Established in 1991, Misr Exchange aims to increase its geographic reach and provide foreign currency exchange services in compliance with Central Bank of Egypt regulations. The company is currently preparing four additional branches in New Cairo (Fifth Settlement), Belbeis, and Maghagha, with plans to reach 80 branches by the end of 2026.
Branches operate daily, including holidays, with extended hours in tourist areas such as Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh to meet market needs and support foreign exchange stability.
