Misr Petroleum earns ISO 50001 energy management certification

Misr Petroleum has successfully obtained the ISO 50001 certification for its energy management system at its oil and grease blending and packaging plant in Alexandria. The certification process and award were conducted through Petrosiv-Petrosert and officially accredited by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC / IAF).

The achievement aims to implement international best practices in resource and energy management to ensure more efficient and sustainable operating systems. This includes monitoring performance indicators and rationalizing consumption within production sites to reduce product costs and improve consumer benefit.
