Misrata Free Zone to host Libyan-Italian business forum

The Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) will host the Libyan-Italian Business and Investment Forum, titled ‘Misrata 2026’, on November 1-2. The event aims to strengthen economic partnerships and expand investment cooperation between Libya and Italy.

Bilateral trade between the two nations currently totals €3.627 billion, with Italy accounting for 24.7% of Libya’s total exports. The forum will bring together economic institutions, investors, and business leaders to explore opportunities in the energy, logistics, trade, and industrial sectors.

The program includes site visits to MFZ facilities and various Libyan institutions, alongside direct one-on-one meetings between investors and company representatives to discuss joint ventures and commercial partnerships.
