Valeria Mena crowned Miss Bolivia Universo 2026, ending 59‑year Oruro drought

The Miss Bolivia 2026 pageant was held on 25 July 2026 at the Salón Sirionó of Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Valeria Mena, representing Oruro, won the Miss Bolivia Universo 2026 crown, marking the first time in 59 years that a contestant from Oruro claimed the top title since 1967. She will represent Bolivia at the Miss Universe 2026 contest.

Four additional crowns were awarded: Ash Castro as Miss Mundo Bolivia, Kaori Fernández as Miss Internacional Bolivia, and Nicole Osorio as Reina Hispanoamericana Bolivia. The event was organized by Promociones Gloria, broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook and the Red Uno television channel, and judged by a panel that included journalist Jimena Antelo, photographer Carlos Rodríguez, entrepreneur Mikaela Byren, designer Alejandro Arraiz, and former Miss Internacional 2025 Catalina Duque Abreu.
