Miss Bourgogne committee holds casting in Dijon

The Miss Bourgogne committee held a casting event at the Grand Hôtel La Cloche in Dijon on November 1. The event serves as a selection process for the upcoming departmental elections scheduled for January 17 in Châtillon-sur-Seine.

Candidates from four departments participated, meeting updated criteria that require applicants to be adults, at least 1.70 meters tall, and residents of the Bourgogne region. The selection process included height measurements, a general knowledge test, and two fashion shows.

Committee organizer Guillaume Tran stated that the organization is evolving with society by being open to diverse profiles, including women of different ages and body types. One 46-year-old candidate, Alix Deprez, noted her desire to represent women who may feel they lack legitimacy due to their age.
