Miss Bumbum Brasil 2026 features 27 contestants in historic inclusive lineup
The 14th edition of Miss Bumbum Brasil, a national beauty contest created in 2011 by journalist Cacau Oliver, is underway with 27 contestants representing the 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District. All participants will remain in the competition until the final scheduled for 15 October in São Paulo, a format change from previous years where some were eliminated earlier.
The roster includes a wide range of professions and backgrounds: sósias of singers IZA, Sheila Mello and Virginia Fonseca, an indigenous representative, a lawyer, a boiadeira, a nutritionist, a therapist, and a plus‑size funk model, MC Soll, who represents Alagoas. The opening ceremony took place on 30 September on Avenida Paulista, launching the public voting phase.
The contest, known for launching personalities such as Andressa Urach, Raissa Barbosa and Carol Lekker, aims to broaden the image of beauty by highlighting diverse careers and body types across Brazil.
