Miss Universe Mexico sets Los Cabos venue; Ecuador pageant kicks off in Guayaquil

The Miss Universe Mexico organization announced that the 2026 national final will be held on 29 August in Los Cabos, Baja California, with 32 contestants competing. The venue was revealed by reigning Miss Universe Mexico 2025, Fátima Bosch, who highlighted the event’s focus on social impact and noted that the broadcast will be carried by Imagen Televisión.

In Ecuador, the Miss Universe Ecuador 2026 competition began on 15 July as 26 candidates arrived in Guayaquil for an official concentration organized by CNB Ecuador. Current titleholder Nadia Mejía welcomed the participants, who will move to Santa Elena on 16 July to receive their identification bands. The month‑long program includes training, interviews, and social activities, culminating in the national final on 15 August, where a new Miss Universe Ecuador will be crowned.

Both national pageants serve as the selection process for their countries’ representatives at the upcoming international Miss Universe competition.
