Miss World 2026 contestants explore Vietnam's culture and nature

The Miss World 2026 pageant is currently underway in Vietnam, featuring 111 contestants from around the globe. Following the opening ceremony in Quang Ninh, which drew mixed reactions regarding the balance between musical performances and contestant spotlight, the delegates have moved to Hai Phong for a series of cultural and environmental activities.

In Hai Phong, contestants participated in hands-on experiences at the Dragon Ocean Do Son area, including planting trees in mangrove forests, searching for shellfish, and kayaking. They also engaged in traditional workshops, such as painting conical hats, and sampled local specialties like Bang La apples.

Amidst the competition, international beauty forums have begun releasing predictions. Notably, the Sash Factor forum placed Vietnam’s Lê Nguyễn Bảo Ngọc at the number one position in its Top 25 predictions, ahead of representatives from Brazil and Venezuela. Meanwhile, contestants like Sierra Leone’s Mariyam Konneh have used the platform to share their cultural identities while navigating the demanding pageant schedule.
