Miss World Venezuela 2025 Mística Núñez launches social project in Falcón
Mística Núñez, crowned Miss World Venezuela 2025, is implementing a social project titled “Semillas de Vida: Nutrir el futuro de Falcón” to address extreme poverty in the Falcón state. During a recent visit to the community of Tiguadare, health specialists conducted assessments on approximately 40 children. The diagnosis revealed that over 50% of the children suffer from moderate or chronic malnutrition. This initiative follows reports that acute childhood malnutrition in Falcón has reached 16.2%, the highest rate in Venezuela.
The project aims to provide medical assistance, pediatric consultations, nutritional monitoring, and preventive medicine training through institutional alliances. It seeks to provide the community with tools to combat extreme poverty, where many families rely on recycling waste from the municipal landfill for survival.
Additionally, Núñez has used her international platform to honor Venezuelan history. For the 75th anniversary of Miss World, she presented a costume inspired by Josefa Camejo, an independence heroine from Falcón. The attire, designed to represent courage and leadership, incorporates historical elements such as a sword and a command staff to celebrate the legacy of Venezuelan women.
