Missing 18-year-old Budapest student found dead in Tököl

The body of an 18-year-old high school student from Budapest's Zugló district has been discovered in Tököl. The teenager had been missing since October 6, after leaving his family home with a black backpack.

On October 24, the body was located in a field near the HÉV railway underpass on Csépi út. The discovery was made by a young police officer assisting the Pest County Search and Rescue Service. While the exact circumstances of the death remain under investigation by the Szigetszentmiklós Police Station, authorities have reportedly ruled out foul play, suggesting the individual may have taken his own life.

Cell phone data indicated the victim's mobile device connected to a network in Tököl on October 7, though it is believed he was already deceased at that time. The deceased is described as having come from a well-off family but was noted to be a solitary and withdrawn individual.
