Missing 75-year-old Amilia Georgalaki in Chania, Crete

Amilia Georgalaki, a 75‑year‑old woman with advanced dementia, was reported missing on the afternoon of Thursday 23 July in the New Chora district of Chania, Crete, after leaving her home to attend a nearby church.

A Silver Alert has been activated and the emergency SOS line 1065 is operating 24‑hours a day. Her brother, Manolis Mavroulakis, and other family members have appealed for information. She was described as having short white hair, brown eyes, about 1.62 m tall, and thin. On the day of her disappearance she was wearing black trousers with white patterns, a dark‑blue short‑sleeve blouse and blue sports shoes. Authorities are urging anyone who saw her or has relevant details to contact the SOS line immediately.
