Missing endangered person reported at Disney's Old Key West Resort

The Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an endangered missing person at Disney's Old Key West Resort early Sunday morning. The call was received at approximately 6:06 a.m. on August 23.

While scanner activity indicated an emergency response at the resort, neither the sheriff's office nor Walt Disney World Resort has released specific details regarding the identity of the individual or the circumstances of the disappearance. Operations at the resort and the broader Walt Disney World area appear to be continuing as normal.

Authorities typically withhold specific information in such cases to respect the privacy of those involved. Further details may only become available if a formal police report is filed or if legal proceedings arise.
