Missing persons cases reported in São Paulo state

Two separate investigations are underway in the state of São Paulo regarding missing individuals.

In Guarujá, the body of 25-year-old systems analyst José Luís da Costa Oliveira was discovered in a wooded area on October 22. Oliveira had been missing since October 8, following a financial scam involving the sale of his vehicle for 24,000 reais. His lawyer, Bianca Santiago, stated that while the advanced state of decomposition makes determining the cause of death difficult, the location of the body suggests the possibility of suicide. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances.

In Mirassol, authorities are searching for 39-year-old Natanael da Silva Marciano, who has been missing since October 18. His disappearance followed a domestic dispute with his wife. Family members reported that his mobile phone has remained turned off since his disappearance, and a search of his residence by family members confirmed he was not on the premises.
