Missing students from Odisha and Krishnagiri rescued in Chennai

Two separate incidents involving missing students ended in successful rescues in Chennai.

In Odisha, two Class X students from Ratnakar Town High School in the Baleshwar district, identified as Ayush Kumar Pati and Akash Singh, were located in Chennai after being missing since October 15. Following a nine-day search by family members and police across several districts, a resident of Bhadrak living in Chennai spotted the boys at a railway station. Family members traveled to Chennai on Saturday morning to retrieve them. The circumstances regarding their disappearance remain under investigation by the Nilagiri police.

In a separate case, T Sanjay, a 12-year-old Class 7 student from Krishnagiri, was traced in Chennai less than 24 hours after leaving home. The boy reportedly left his house on Friday evening due to fear regarding his recent exam results. After traveling by bus to Chennai, he was assisted by an autorickshaw driver who contacted his father. The boy was handed over to relatives and returned home safely.
