In collegiate volleyball action, both Mississippi State and Michigan State secured straight-set victories to maintain undefeated starts to their seasons.

Mississippi State moved to a 7-1 record after sweeping the Memphis Tigers at the Carrie Yerty Classic. The Bulldogs recorded a 25-7, 25-11, and 25-23 victory. Bernardita Aguilar led the team with 13 kills, while Noella Obi recorded six blocks.
