Mississippi State and Ole Miss see strong early college football seasons

Mississippi's college football programs, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, are experiencing strong early-season performances. Ole Miss currently holds a No. 4 ranking following a victory over LSU, while Mississippi State is ranked No. 24 after securing consecutive road wins against Minnesota and South Carolina.

Mississippi State is preparing to host No. 19 Missouri at Davis Wade Stadium for its first SEC home game of the season. During the matchup, organizers intend to attempt a new world record for the simultaneous ringing of cowbells by fans entering the venue.
