Mississippi State football opens fall camp with revamped roster under Jeff Lebby

Mississippi State University began its 2025 fall football camp on Friday, marking the third year of head coach Jeff Lebby's tenure. The Bulldogs entered camp with a dramatically altered roster, adding 24 transfer players and retaining only two offensive‑line starters, with Canon Boone anchoring the line. The secondary was completely rebuilt, featuring newcomer Quentin Taylor alongside returning cornerback Kelley Jones. Quarterback Kamario Taylor took the field as the full‑time starter for his first season in that role. Lebby said the first day showed progress in the program’s long‑term building process, emphasizing that the team now has its best roster and staff to date.
