Mississippi to experience warmer than average fall temperatures

Looking toward the later months of the season, NOAA issued a less confident prediction for late September through November, indicating a 33% to 40% chance of above-average heat. Regarding precipitation, the outlook for the first half of September is labeled as ‘equal chances,’ meaning there are no definitive signs for either rainy or dry conditions. However, for October and November, there is a 33% to 40% chance of higher-than-average precipitation.
