Missão Empreendedora program recognizes 10 female food entrepreneurs

The fourth edition of the Missão Empreendedora program has recognized 10 outstanding female entrepreneurs in the food sector. The initiative, a partnership between Pluxee, Abrasel, and the NGO Aliança Empreendedora, received 2,547 applications and certified 1,523 participants.

The ten winners, representing the states of Bahia, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Roraima, and São Paulo, each received a R$ 3,000 financial grant to invest in their businesses. These entrepreneurs lead various operations, ranging from street vending and custom orders to established restaurants and snack bars.

In addition to financial support, the program provides free courses in management, finance, and marketing, alongside mentorship from specialists. The winners were announced during the Salão Abrasel in São Paulo.
