Missouri teacher dismissed after OnlyFans activity discovered

Sheena Sittner, a substitute teacher in Missouri’s Parkway School District, lost her job after her employer, Kelly Education, discovered her OnlyFans profile. Sittner stated she sought supplemental income to cover university tuition for her children, student loans, and daily living expenses.

While earning approximately $140 per day as a teacher, Sittner noted she could often earn the same amount in a single hour on the adult content platform. Following her dismissal in September, which the employer cited as necessary for student safety and well-being, her OnlyFans revenue increased significantly due to public interest. She and her husband now produce content for the platform as a full-time occupation.

Sittner argued that low educator salaries drive professionals toward online content creation to meet financial obligations. Legal experts noted a rise in similar cases, highlighting how employers increasingly use facial recognition and AI software to monitor employees' online presence.
