Missouri teacher loses job after OnlyFans account discovery
Sheena Sittner, a substitute teacher in St. Louis County, Missouri, lost her employment after it was revealed she had managed an active OnlyFans account for over two years. Sittner, who was employed through the contractor Kelly Education, stated that she turned to the platform to generate supplemental income due to low salaries in the education sector.
Following the discovery, Kelly Education removed Sittner from current and future teaching assignments pending a review. The company also instructed her to channel all communications with school districts through the firm. While Sittner initially believed these restrictions prevented her from volunteering at her child's school, Kelly Education clarified that the measures apply only to her professional assignments and do not infringe upon her legal rights as a parent to participate in school activities.
Sittner defended her actions, arguing that the economic pressures on educators drive professionals toward online content creation. She remarked, “If teachers were paid better, women would not have to resort to creating online content.”
