Mistral AI and Génia launch new AI productivity tools

French technology companies are launching new AI-driven tools designed to automate repetitive professional tasks and increase productivity for teams and small businesses.

Mistral AI has introduced Vibe (formerly Le Chat), an assistant featuring a ‘Vibe Work’ mode. This tool is designed to handle multi-step tasks such as summarizing weekly updates from Slack and email communications into structured documents. It utilizes over 100 integrations via the MCP standard, connecting natively with Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Outlook to reduce manual data entry.

Separately, the Nantes-based startup Génia has released a browser-integrated AI assistant for Chrome and Firefox. Designed for freelancers and SMEs, the tool acts as a floating widget that analyzes on-screen content to suggest email responses, generate LinkedIn posts, or perform competitive intelligence. Through its ‘Génia Pro’ offering, the company also provides custom AI agents tailored to specific business needs.
