Misty Ellis wins International Master Hair Pro of the Year

Misty Ellis, owner of The Hive Salon in Oak Harbor, has been named International Master Hair Pro of the Year at the annual Hair Pro Awards held in England. Ellis, who attended the ceremony as a finalist, also earned her Master Hair Pro qualification earlier in the same week.

The Master Hair Pro qualification allows Ellis to be eligible for professional registration in the United Kingdom under the Hairdressers (Registration) Act 1964. Ellis noted that the award represents a potential new step in her career, drawing on three decades of experience styling hair globally.
