MIT and Wyoming Women's Volleyball Teams Secure Record AVCA Academic Awards

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology women's volleyball team earned its 20th consecutive American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award and was named to the Academic Honor Roll for the eighth straight year, ranking in the top 20 percent of Division III team GPAs. MIT also placed a league‑high ten student‑athletes on the NEWMAC Academic All‑Conference Team, with senior Sophia Song receiving the NEWMAC Laurels of Academic Excellence.

The University of Wyoming Cowgirls volleyball program received its 18th consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2025‑26 academic year, posting a team GPA of 3.51. Senior Paige Lauterwasser was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All‑District Team, and several teammates earned spots on the Academic All‑Mountain West Team.
