MİT Chief Kalın addresses Gaza and the search for a new world order

Turkish Intelligence Chief İbrahim Kalın spoke at the TRT World Forum 2026 in Istanbul, addressing the intersection of international law and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Kalın emphasized that the struggle in Palestine is not merely about territory, but represents a fight for justice, honor, and universal values.

He noted that the conflict in Gaza is an integral part of the broader Palestinian struggle for equality. Kalın described the current global landscape as chaotic and unpredictable, marking a transition from a West-centric, American and European-led order toward a search for a multipolar world order. He questioned who would provide the moral, legal, and humanitarian principles for this new structure, noting that global governance has become increasingly inaccessible.
