Ümit Özdağ visits labor unions to discuss economic and educational concerns

Zafer Partisi Chairman Ümit Özdağ conducted visits to labor unions, including Belediye İş and Eğitim-İş, to discuss economic and social issues in Turkey.

During his meeting with the Belediye İş Union, Özdağ criticized the current economic situation, stating that 90 percent of the Turkish population is facing deepening poverty. He also voiced strong opposition to ongoing negotiations regarding the PKK, characterizing the potential for amnesty and constitutional changes as an attempt to undermine the unitary and secular structure of the Turkish state.

In a separate meeting with Eğitim-İş Union President Kadem Özbay, discussions focused on the state of the national education system. Özbay expressed concerns that political choices have opened education to market interests and religious groups, leading to increased inequality and a loss of hope among students and teachers.
