Mitaka/Inokashira Housing Stage to open in Tokyo in 2027

The Mitaka/Inokashira Housing Stage, a comprehensive residential exhibition center, is scheduled to open on January 9, 2027, in Mitaka City, Tokyo. The site is located at 3-13-10 Shinkawa, occupying the former location of the Olympic Mitaka discount store, which closed in August 2025.

Operated by Fuzzy Ad Office Co., Ltd., the facility will feature eight model houses from eight different companies: Ai Koumuten, Asahi Kasei Homes, Sumitomo Forestry, Sekisui House, Daiwa House Industry, Tokyo Sekisui Heim, Panasonic Homes, and Hinokiya Group. The venue is designed to mimic a completed residential neighborhood, incorporating greenery and walking paths to help visitors visualize living in the area.

To assist visitors at various stages of the home-building process, the exhibition will offer three specific services: a reservation-only free viewing day for casual observers, a support desk with neutral information staff for those seeking guidance, and a web reservation system for efficient, pre-planned tours.
