Mitch Marner praises Darren Raddysh’s NHL journey

Vegas Golden Knights winger Mitch Marner recently commented on the professional journey of defenseman Darren Raddysh, who recently signed an eight-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Marner, who grew up in Toronto with Raddysh and his brother Taylor, described Raddysh’s career path as “unique.” After going undrafted and facing initial challenges in the NHL, Raddysh experienced a breakout season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, recording 70 points in 73 games.

Marner highlighted Raddysh’s value to the Maple Leafs, specifically noting his shot as a significant asset for the power play and his willingness to play a physical style of hockey.
