Mitchell Lawrie wins soft-tip darts title in Tokyo

Fifteen-year-old Scottish darts prodigy Mitchell Lawrie won the soft-tip tournament ‘The World’ in Tokyo, claiming a $10,000 top prize. During the competition, Lawrie achieved several remarkable feats, including a perfect leg in cricket during the round-robin stage and a nine-dart finish in his semi-final match against Yeh Pin Feng.

Lawrie defeated Haruki Muramatsu in the final to secure the title. This victory marks a significant statement for the young player, who is scheduled to make his PDC debut following Q-School early next year. His performance in Tokyo has drawn comparisons to other rising stars in the sport due to his early dominance and technical precision.
