Mitchell Robinson misses Celtics presser due to personal reasons

Mitchell Robinson, who recently signed a three-year, $47.4 million contract with the Boston Celtics after leaving the New York Knicks, missed a scheduled introductory press conference due to personal reasons. Celtics president Brad Stevens confirmed Robinson had left Boston that morning to attend to a personal matter.

Despite his absence from the media session, Robinson has been participating in informal team workouts throughout the month. Robinson recently shared on social media that he has been impressing coaching staff with his improved skills. He noted that during a workout, a coach expressed surprise at his level of ball-handling, shooting, and touch, stating, “He didn’t know that I had the sh— that I showed tonight.”
