Mitchelle Meira opens campaign committee in Fortaleza

Mitchelle Meira, a candidate for federal deputy representing the Rede Sustentabilidade party, has officially opened her campaign committee in Fortaleza, Ceará. The committee, located in the Benfica neighborhood, is intended to serve as a space for dialogue and collective construction among supporters and the public.

Meira, who has a background in Public Management and Human Rights, previously served as the first Diversity Secretary for Ceará and held national and municipal coordination roles for LGBT policies. Her 2026 candidacy is supported by Federal Deputy Luizianne Lins. Meira’s platform focuses on equality, citizenship, and the rights of women, youth, and the LGBTI+ community.
