Mito Hollyhock faces setback as Takumi Manase receives red card

During a J1 League match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima on October 31, Mito Hollyhock defender Takumi Manase was sent off with a straight red card in the 21st minute. The referee ruled the sliding tackle on striker Akito Suzuki as denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity (DOGSO).

Mito Hollyhock is currently struggling with a six-match losing streak. The team recently underwent a leadership change following the dismissal of former manager Daisuke Kijimori, with Football Director Naoki Mori stepping in as the new manager on October 26.
